Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-09-29
These Terms govern your use of gokoreamate, a travel planning service for exploring Korea, building itineraries, and keeping travel memories. By using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. Operator
These Terms apply to gokoreamate, operated by 케이이엔지, a sole proprietorship in the Republic of Korea (shown by its registered Korean trade name). Address: 부산시 남구 유엔로 96번길 26-31 (대연동), Busan, Republic of Korea.
2. The service
gokoreamate provides curated place information for Korean cities, an itinerary builder, personal travel records (saved places, personal places, photos, memos, stories), optional public sharing, and optional AI-assisted features when available. The service is provided as-is and may change over time.
3. Accounts and Google sign-in
Most features work without an account. Signing in with Google is optional and is used to associate optional AI usage allowances safely with you. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for activity that occurs through your signed-in session. Signing out or not signing in does not remove travel data stored on your device.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or invades another person's privacy (including posting someone else's personal information or photos without permission);
- misrepresent places, safety information, or reviews;
- interfere with the service, attempt to bypass access controls or rate limits, or scrape the service at scale;
- use the service to send spam or unauthorized advertising.
5. Travel information and AI output are not guarantees
Itineraries, place details, and any AI-assisted suggestions are for planning convenience only. Opening hours, prices, weather, transport, visa rules, and safety conditions change without notice, and automatically generated content can be incomplete or wrong. Always re-check important travel information — especially safety, visa, health, and transport details — with official sources before relying on it. The service is not a travel agency booking on your behalf and does not guarantee any travel outcome.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the photos, memos, itineraries, and stories you create. So that the service can function, you grant the operator a non-exclusive license to host, store, resize, and display your content — to you, and to others only to the extent you choose to share or publish it. This license ends for content you delete, except where a copy exists in another user's account because you published the content and they copied it while it was public.
7. Public sharing responsibilities
Publishing a trip, story, or memory makes that content visible to anyone with the link and allows others to copy the itinerary. You are responsible for what you publish, including making sure people in your photos consent and that you have the right to share the content. The operator may remove public content that violates Section 4.
8. Affiliate links
Some links to travel partners (currently Agoda, Trip.com, Klook, KKday) are affiliate links: bookings made through them may earn the operator a commission at no extra cost to you. Partner sites are operated by third parties under their own terms; the operator is not a party to purchases you make there and is not responsible for partner services.
9. Service changes and availability
Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued, and availability is not guaranteed. Where a change materially reduces core functionality, reasonable notice will be given within the service.
10. Suspension and termination
The operator may restrict or terminate access that violates these Terms or harms the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time; data deletion is described in Section 11.
11. Data deletion
You can delete itineraries, saved places, personal places, photos, and memos in the app at any time; deletion takes effect immediately, including stored photo files. You can also permanently delete your account yourself (More → Delete account permanently); what is deleted and what is kept follows Section 12 of the Privacy Policy. Deleting content does not retract copies other users lawfully made while the content was public.
12. Fees
All current features are free of charge. If paid features are introduced in the future, their price, payment, and refund terms will be announced separately and will apply only after notice, and this section will be updated before launch.
13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose, and the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including reliance on travel information or AI output, or from partner sites. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute about the service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and a lawsuit may be brought before the court that has jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act and other applicable laws.
15. Changes to these Terms and contact
If these Terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new revision date, and significant changes will be announced within the service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
