Patriot Park Chajeong, the name we must remember

WHY VISIT

The Birth House of Patriot Park Chajeong can be easily found if you follow the directional sign posted at the Nangmin Station in Dongnae-gu. This simple house sits in an alley of a housing area with the Korean national flag flying at the gate. Patriot Park Chajeong, who led student independence movements when she was in Dongnae Ilshin Girls’ School, later fled to China and worked as a major member of the Righteous Patriots Corps for national liberation until she died. Take some time to thank and pay tribute to the independent activists who gave us the gift of peace today.
