WHY VISIT
Ginkgo Seoul is a hanok cafe. Built in 1956 beside a ginkgo tree that has long been a fixture of Sangsamaeul Village, this house was restored to its old appearance after 22 years and designated as a preserved house by Seoul Metropolitan Government. This single species ginkgo tree, which has endured for a long time and cannot survive alone, felt very similar to this hanok space that has protected this place for a long time, so the name of this space was chosen as Ginkgo Seoul after the scientific name of the ginkgo tree, ginkgo biloba. Ginkgo Seoul does not allow pets and is a no kids zone, allowing entry for those aged 12 and above.
