WHY VISIT
A a royal confectionery store opened in 1991, with a craftsman who researches and produces royal confectionery, and a successor is taking over the family business. The signature product is the flavorful yakgwa with jochung. Mannadang has inherited and maintained the traditional flavors of confectionery, rice cakes, and Korean confectionery that are served at feasts in the palace and noble families. It is the only place in Seoul that produces and sells royal rice cakes and royal Korean confectionery that are used in traditional banquets.
