WHY VISIT

Pyeongtaek Go Yeosa House Cold Noodles traces its origins to the founder, who brought his father’s noodle-making tradition from Pyeongan Province during the Korean War. In 1974, he opened “Pyeongtaek Go Doctor House” in Pyeongtaek, named after his nickname “Go Doctor,” earned for his cool and open personality. The restaurant moved to Sinchon in 1982, and later, his daughter Ms. Go Hee-seung continued the legacy, relocating to Yeonhui-dong in 2008. Loved for its refreshing broth and chewy noodles, the restaurant is also known for its unique topping of thinly sliced cucumber peppers on cold noodles.
