Around 1979, the number of grilled fish restaurants gradually increased, offering mackerel, Spanish mackerel, and yellow croaker grilled over charcoal braziers. In the 1990s, the alley thrived due to workers from nearby sewing factories, and even today it attracts visitors of all ages, both domestic and international.
