WHY VISIT
For over 40 years, Heungjinok has been offering traditional Gyeongsang-do-style haejang-guk (hangover soup). The soup is loaded with beef omasum, intestines, and coagulated ox-blood. There is also plenty of a lot of napa cabbage, dried napa cabbage, andmung-bean sprouts, and they prepare the broth made with beef bones, so the soup is rich but refreshing. Although not particularly clean-tasting, the soup is very rich and flavorful.
