WHY VISIT

Yurim Myeon is a noodle specialty shop that opened in 1960 and is now operated by the third generation. Located in Seosomun-dong, it is a place where you can feel the tradition and history of Korea. At the time of its opening, when flour came in as relief supplies, they started a noodle shop where many people could enjoy a meal at an affordable price. Now, with the know-how accumulated over generations, it has grown into a shop loved by many. To achieve a chewy texture, the noodles are aged in advance, and as soon as an order comes in, they are immediately boiled. The signature dish is bibim buckwheat noodles, where the chewy noodles and sweet and spicy sauce harmonize, and fresh toppings and a sprinkle of sesame enhance the flavor.
