WHY VISIT
Gukhwa Jeongwon specializes in traditional Korean set menu meals. Instead of serving a wide variety of side dishes, every course is accompanied by a few side dishes, selected to complement one another. Those that book in advance are provided with a dish of chopped abalone, grilled abalone, and a mixed sushi platter. The interior is particularly impressive, as the antique roofing tiles that decorate the interior are tiles that were retained from the original construction of the building in 1925.
