Huirak

WHY VISIT

The dented tin pots they use are the hallmark of Huirak, a restaurant specializing in galchi jorim (braised hairtail). They roughly cut radishes into large rounds and place them in the bottom of a tin pot; then add water, sauce, and large pieces of hairtail.This is boiled down halfway and finished when you place your order. They also take a lot of pride in making their own red pepper paste made from chili peppers that they dry and grind themselves. Rice is refilled as many times as you'd like. This is theoriginal branch of Huirak in Namdaemun.
