WHY VISIT
Saemban Makguksu is the Seoul branch of Sambat Makguksu in Chuncheon. They use noodles made of 80% buckwheat flour. In addition to the popular representative dish Makguksu (buckwheat noodles in a spicy sauce), gamjajeon (Korean-style potato pancakes), and bossam (steamed pork with fresh unfermented kimchi) are also recommended. The assorted Korean-style pancakes, made with shrimp, king oyster mushrooms, meat and vegetable skewers, zucchini, and fish are good, too.
