WHY VISIT
Samcheonggak is a traditional arts and cultural complex used as a meeting place for high-ranking politicians from the ruling and opposition parties, inter-Korean Red Cross, and Korean-Japan talks. Comprising a performance hall, Korean restaurant, tea house, and guest rooms, Samcheonggak hosts traditional performances throughout the year, except on Mondays. The buildings in Samcheonggak are Hanoks, where you can feel the architectural beauty of Korea, and are made up of the main building, Ilhwadang, and five separate buildings, including Dongbaekheon, Yuhajeong, Chuwidang, Cheonchudang, and Cheongcheondang. Among these is the Samcheonggak Korean restaurant on the first floor of Ilhwadang. The restaurant is a great place to enjoy high-quality Korean food with the elegance of nature.
