WHY VISIT
Jinachun, established in 1925, is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Seoul and a place rich in history dating back to the Japanese colonial period. Located in Daehak-ro, it was popular among Seoul National University students in the 1960s and 1970s; students who lacked money would even pawn their wristwatches just to enjoy a bowl of jajangmyeon. The signature dish is a classic jajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce) that stays true to tradition, featuring an excellent harmony of chewy noodles and sauce. Inside the restaurant, photos related to its long history are displayed, allowing diners to glimpse stories of the past even during their meals.
