WHY VISIT
With a long tradition of over 30 years, Myeonghwadang is legendary for their gimbap (Korean rolls). They also make a fantastic tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes) and bibim jjolmyeon (cold wheat noodles served with vegetables in a spicy sauce). Inthe early days their menu was limited to just tteokbokki and gimbap, but they have since added a variety of other dishes, such as mandu (Korean dumplings) and udon noodles. Prices are reasonable.
