Three generations have been running this Chinese restaurant for over 40 years. Gaehwa is famous for its delicious noodle dishes. The jajangmyeon, handmade noodles topped with black soybean sauce, potatoes, onions, carrots, and pork is very good; the honghap jjamppong, a spicy noodle soup, comes loaded with mussels; and the chili shrimp and the pan-fried pork balls with vegetables are also worthy of a recommendation.
