Sinseonggak

WHY VISIT

Sinseonggak is a Chinese restaurant that uses only handmade noodles in their jajangmyeon (noodles with black soybean sauce). Although their menu doesn't offer the usual main dishes that can be found at Chinese restaurants in Korea, but there are a few noodle dishes, tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork or beef), and japchae (clear noodles stir-fried with meat and vegetables). Their jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) is made with mussels, clams, zucchini, napa cabbage, cabbage, and shitake mushrooms, and has a nice spiciness that enhances the flavor of the ingredients. Alcohol is not served here.
