WHY VISIT

The primary subjects of this exhibition are Buddhist statues and natural objects. Among them, the artist has depicted Vairocana Buddha, Bodhisattva statues in the contemplative pose, stone pagodas, and other cultural treasures observed closely over many years. These works are created with ink and brush, capturing the beauty and gentle smile of our national treasures beyond religious boundaries, offering viewers a sense of comfort. The background patchwork drawn with ramie fabric is composed thread by thread, reflecting the artist’s connections and relationships. The exhibition seeks to present experimental works in both materials and technique, extending beyond traditional ink painting.
