WHY VISIT
This exhibition centers around the emotional flow of taking a pause in the midst of a hectic life to reflect on the present and confront the potential of tomorrow. Artist Yoon Eui-jin uses repeated brushstrokes on traditional Korean paper to depict surreal landscapes that embody the dark hours of life and the quiet hope found within them, capturing the lingering impressions of fleeting emotions. Artist Lee Chae-il transforms everyday objects such as classic cars, cats, and the sea into fairy-tale-like scenes, evoking warm memories and hope. Together, their landscapes retrace the memories of yesterday and the familiarity of today, shining a light on hope for the future. We hope that this exhibition offers a meaningful moment to confront the present and imagine a hopeful tomorrow through the works of these two artists.
