Hangang River, Flowing with Folk Songs and Stories

WHY VISIT

<Our Songs Where the Han River Appears> Representative folk songs featuring the Han River include <Han River Lament>, <Nodeul Riverside>, <Ferryman's Song>, and <Inje Log Raft Arirang>, which were sung while working on the Han River. The exhibition enables visitors to view the Han River in various contexts as depicted in folk songs from all regions of the country. It also features rare folk song SP and LP records, lyric books containing lyrics, and musical scores. <[Experience] Han River in Memory> This is an experience zone designed to allow visitors to appreciate the various aspects of the Han River through ASMR videos, landscape paintings, and maps, and share precious memories of the Han River. We hope this special exhibition, <Han River, Flows with Sound>, which illuminates the Han River that has flowed alongside Seoul citizens for a long time, will be a meaningful opportunity to feel the emotions of our people through folk songs deeply.
