WHY VISIT
A woman who has carried the pain of separation in her heart for over 70 years shows the last handwritten letter she received from her husband before they became separated due to the Korean War. Through videos of maps drawn by separated families depicting their hometowns and the stories behind them, viewers can virtually visit these childhood places beyond the armistice line, places they can no longer reach. Although no one knows when a reunion might happen, videos containing the life stories and memories of separated families are shown, with the hope they may one day reach their relatives still in North Korea.
