In anticipation of the opening of the Seoul Metropolitan Museum of Photography in 2024, a major retrospective exhibition titled "KooBohnchang’s Voyages" will be held, featuring the works of Koo Bohnchang (born 1953), an icon of modern Korean photography as well as contemporary art.

WHY VISIT
In anticipation of the opening of the Seoul Metropolitan Museum of Photography in 2024, a major retrospective exhibition titled "KooBohnchang’s Voyages" will be held, featuring the works of Koo Bohnchang (born 1953), an icon of modern Korean photography as well as contemporary art. This exhibition will display over 500 works and around 600 materials, ranging from Koo Bohnchang's first work, "Self-Portrait" (1968), to his most recent works. It showcases the deep and expansive world of the artist's creations. Following the artist's artistic journey, we invite you to embark on a new voyage, starting from the 'Room of Curiosity,’ passing through 'Adventurous Journey, One World, Temple of the Soul,’ and concluding with 'The Open Room.’
