She researched and reinterpreted portraits from the Joseon Dynasty era, giving birth to “realistic girl painting” and creating traditional color paintings from a feminine perspective. Artist Jeong Yeon-yeon addresses women's diversity and social reality in a bright and honest tone, expressing her hope for peace by breaking down discrimination with classic blue, which symbolizes male authority.
