WHY VISIT
The Title Match, a representative annual exhibition of the Seoul Museum of Art Buk-Seoul branch, marks its 12th edition in 2025 by inviting artists Jang Young Hye Heavy Industries and Hong Jin Hwon. The exhibition begins from the awareness that, although society constantly advocates for the ideal of being “one community,” in reality, complex interests clash, and communities remain fractured. Instead of focusing on reconciled unity, the exhibition highlights the conflicts and fractures within communities and the resulting political discord. Through the works of Jang Young Hye Heavy Industries and Hong Jin Hwon, the exhibition examines the conditions under which political actions emerge and explores how art can intervene in social phenomena and create new political possibilities.
