WHY VISIT
To mark its 20th anniversary, Gongganhye Gallery presents the second part of its special exhibition, running from September 15 to October 4, 2025. The exhibition revisits the gallery’s journey: from its beginnings as a photography-specialized gallery in 2005, to its relocation next to the Blue House in Samcheong-dong in 2010, and its expansion into painting, sculpture, video, and installation art, shaping the trajectory of contemporary art. The exhibition will feature works by three artists who have steadily developed their unique artistic worlds in collaboration with Gongganhye Gallery: Jen Pak, Chen Ruo Bing, and Kwak Intan. Through their diverse generational, regional, and formal languages, the exhibition seeks to map out the expanded landscape of contemporary visual arts.
