WHY VISIT
Located in Namsan Mountain, Baekbeom Square Park can be found by walking up the mountain path from Hoehyeon-dong. A statue of Kim Gu - a leader, an educator, a politician - symbolizes the spirit of patriotism which led to the Korea's independence. In front of the statue is a large grassy square and road leading up the mountain. Statues of General Kim Yu-shin's horse and Yi Si-yeong can also be found inside the park.
