WHY VISIT
Seoraeseom Island is a small artificial island located between Dongjakdaegyo Bridge and Banpodaegyo Bridge. Although it's an island, it's located closer to the river banks, making it easily accessible via the 3 bridges connecting it to Banpo Hangang Park. Featuring magnificent weeping willows and widespread canola flower fields during springtime, this site is commonly used for natural and environmental research. Unlike other sites which take advantage of their higher vantage points to attract visitors, Seoraeseom Island takes advantage of it being on the same surface level as Hangang River, offering visitors spectacular views of the city's buildings and sunsets.
