WHY VISIT

Space C is a venue created and run by Coreana, a Korean cosmetics company. It spans 10 levels comprising a museum, gallery, beauty shop, café, and rooftop garden. On the 5th and 6th floors, visitors will find Korea’s largest cosmetics museum where visitors can learn about the history and development of Korean cosmetics. Space C also houses a large number of cosmetics-related artworks and other artifacts. The Cosmetics Museum is Space C’s main exhibition hall, presenting the history of Korean cosmetics through a collection of more than 5,300 beauty-related items used by women in the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). The C Gallery on the first basement level is a traditional exhibition hall that displays fine art while C Cube on the second basement level plays host to more experimental work. The museum café on the 1st floor reflects the nature of its setting with art exhibits created from everyday objects, giving visitors the chance to continue their cultural odyssey even as they relax. The Beauty Space on the 2nd to 4th floors is a peaceful haven where women can consult a beauty therapist in the skin clinic and indulge in a range of body treatments. The Outdoor Cosmetics Museum on the rooftop of Space C is a garden featuring a collection of important plants which provide key ingredients for the cosmetics industry. From here, visitors can also enjoy spectacular views of the Seoul skyline.
