WHY VISIT
Located in Insadong since 1984, Talbang offers a wide variety of traditional handmade masks. In the show window, you can see the hahoe, which symbolizes the Korean face, as well as gakshi, yangban used in snadae nori. The workshop uses wood to restore traditional Korean masks, and all the pieces are handmade. The process of making a hahoe-tal is also on display. Although it is a small store of about 4 square meters, the owner of Talbang has been working on various creative works here.
